For You

I lost a friend in 1997. I was supposed to read this at her funeral, but I was not able to go there, because I did not want to see her body lying in a coffin. I was 16 when I wrote this for her. Maybe you will be able to connect through the loss of a loved one. For You Everyday I reminisce about what happened in the past wishing hoping praying the killing would not last memories of yesterday holding me back from continuing my way I have to be strong and hold on but I can't come to realize that you are gone never a chance to say goodbye only the hellos as I walked by You were a friend to  me and the rest you seemed to always smile and look your best why didn't this happen to someone else? why to anyone? Why to you? A lot have cried and didn't know what to do I tried to be better tried to be stronger although sometimes I didn't want to live any longer I try to stay OK, but I can't take it I don't know how many more days I'll be able...

Last Romance

Image
I wrote this poem about 13 years ago. Normally, I would fix it up and make it more mature. In this case I wanted to leave this alone, because it is almost like I am showing myself in my innocence to the world. Forever ends all so soon we haven't had much time for together but we'll always have our moon it brought an atmosphere of love and admiration with a strong tug on completion, commitment, and dedication though, all good things has to come to an halt the sight for seeing such true love was sought now, leaving us two to be dearly departed memories to forever be loved hearted these seconds, minutes, and hours being our last chance to show love through the greatest romance

I Speak

Image
His words paint a picture / with sketches of the mind / He leaves spiritual outlines / speaking in parables / while bringing hope to the blind / show that...good * great = sublime grace / painting the portrait of a map / to lead us to treasures untold / grab a pen and please take notes / it may be too much knowledge / for your ears to hold / meditate on these things / and let them fill your mind / to reach level for beyond which the world is inclined / ... to be continued I hate to leave this poem unfinished, but I feel that I would like to adjust the ending to this poem so I will post a continuation at a later time. Please leave comments and remarks for the poem so far.

I am Love...

Written 6-27-2013 I am Love I have come to the conclusion that I am LOVE The mere idea of being wanted Accepted Adored Even with the heartbreak, still yearning for more stead-fast as it conquers the heart indulges in dreams truly a desirable score some may look at it as an obsession a torturous evil a baring too much to fathom a drug or a fixation to explore not realizing that love is the existence of life the story of all untold the beauty within out souls to live without is like having a beach with no sure a bird with no wings sky with no shade of blue life with no breath a house with no door love is my offering love does not blind you but it reminds you that it holds a remedy a cure life can be empty and  bleak and its a foreshadowing of the  future crowned and resting in mansions love while living in peace claiming victory in the war
