Scheming Baby

So my parents left the dog to watch me play, by the pool side, I will stay. Ol' Benji better keep watching, cause in 5 minutes I'm running away I joke and I laugh, but I have a scheme Slowly slide into the water and then begin to scream When Ol' Benji jumps into the water I will punch him in his nose I will swim away joyfully ready, set, away she goes. Oh, I must leave behind a gift One that you must sniff. I have a surprise in my diaper There she blows, and floats adrift!!!

My September

I was embraced by the warmth of love. captured by its time-frozen grasp It brought me through the shade of winter; my season of despair It carried me to a burst of sunshine and the blossom of heaven's kiss Love's wind blew softly about my neck, as the fragrance of passion imploded my mind The sunshine became intense crucifying my patience I felt trapped in the timeless shadow of love's nest I studied the playbook and watched the film in search of some missed opportunities and fumbles on my part but I searched with judgement's eye Not allowing objection on my field blurring the flags and leaving the blame on the opposing one yard line I did not want to leave the shadow but I missed the sunshine living my life in the shade brought on a reckless endangerment of my heart making foolish calls rebutting all plays even refusing to return to the prized player I once was I thought losing was staying in the game rather, giving up was much worse I did no...
